Imran Syed CFP CFSB TEP
 After
founding and serving as the managing director of Pallenburg
Wealth Management for the last 10 years, Imran has established
a fee only advisory firm, Brandenburg Capital Strategies.
For over 22 years, he has been advising affluent delegators
to help simplify their complex financial affairs, providing
comprehensive investment management and financial planning services
and assisting with Preserving, Protecting and Transferring Family
Wealth.
A graduate of Carleton University, a Certified Financial Planner,
Chartered Financial Services Broker and Trust and Estate Practitioner,
Imran previously served on the Board of Directors of ADVOCIS,
(Canada's largest association of financial advisors).
Imran was recognized as one of the Top 40 under 40 by the
Ottawa Business Journal, the first wealth manager in Ottawa
to win this award. He was also honoured by Carleton University
as one of their distinguished graduates.
He writes for the Ottawa Citizen as a financial planning expert
and has written numerous articles for the National Post, Toronto
Star, Vancouver Sun, Edmonton Journal and Calgary Herald among
others.
Imran specializes in financial planning and portfolio management
for high net worth individuals and in serving the needs of clients
in transition, including pre- and post-retirees, widows, divorced
individuals, business owners and recipients of sudden wealth.
Patricia Pranke
Pat Pranke joined Imran’s practice as our Team Leader
and Operations Manager in 2000. She works closely with both
new and existing clients, helping them set-up new accounts and
implement investment plans. Pat oversees every aspect of our
business and operations, working side-by-side with Imran and
Worldsource Securities, our sponsoring securities dealer, to
ensure that our clients receive the highest level of service
we can offer.
Pat came to Brandenburg Capital Strategies (and Pallenburg
Wealth Management before then), with over a decade of experience
in the banking and financial services industry in progressively
senior positions.
We feel lucky to have someone with her depth and breadth of
industry knowledge as a member of our team.
